I Know

I met Matt Ryd in high-school my freshman year (in 2000). I waved my hands and said, "Hi! I'm Christine Hands!" He waved his hands too and said, "Hi! I'm Matt Ryd!" We reconnected while living in Chicago after college. On August 4, 2013, my long-time friend Matt lost his long battle with anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Although he left this world, the most beautiful thing about art is that his voice is still with us after he has left; so many words and lyrics were left behind. After he passed, Ben Winter and I got together to finish this project Matt and I had never completed. Matt was with us the whole time.
